Serial Mini Tournament(SMT)

Background

TENNISRAY TC (TRTC) launched the regular tennis tournaments (SMT) on March of 2018. The one-day tournament will be one of the SMT Points Serials. The tournament is open to all tennis lovers. Anyone is welcomed to register for the tournament. We will separate our players into social and competition levels, classifying them into different divisions to have competition.

The aim of the event:

Creating networking opportunities for tennis lovers to meet each other.
Engaging non-tennis people, fresh players, talented junior, and decent senior players with more competition opportunities.

Competition Rules of SMT

Eight players are allocated into two groups( GroupA, GroupB)
Each group has four players. (A1,A2,A3,A4,B1,B2,B3,B4)
In groups, round robin(a tournament in which each competitor plays in turn against every other) is used in competition.
The best and the second best players in each group will be qualified to play in the elimination stage (Semi-Final)
The No.1 in group A competes with the No.2 in Group B. The No.2 in group A competes with the No.1 in Group B. The winners from each competition will play against each other in the final.
Fast4 tennis is used in each match in SMT.

The rules of FAST4 Tennis

The first to four games wins. It doesn't matter how you get there, just make sure you do before your opponent does!
Tiebreaker at 3 games all. At 3 games all a tiebreak is played to 5 points. ...
No ad scoring. If the score reaches deuce, it's a sudden death point. ...
